It began with a stone many years ago ...

I (Lotta) was allowed to 'help' my grandmother with an embroidery that she was working on at the time. A darker yarn was threaded on the needle and I got to sew a small stone in backstitch. Can you see it?

It wetted my appetite, and then it has rolled on over the years with more embroidery, knitting and crocheting ...

Grandma was also good at sewing clothes, and she made juices and jam and was always careful to do things properly and always wanted to do right.

We want to walk in her footsteps with Torgstenen ('Square Stone'), ie to ensure that you can shop with us safely and be really happy with your goods!

We sell high quality yarn, embroidery and accessories from well-known 'Marks & Katten' through the mail, but we also has a small shop about 10 km north of Hörby.

Founder and long time knitter! I knit on the bus, during coffee breaks and in front of the television.

Manages the web site, select images and write texts. Receives orders, packing items and go to the post office

There is nothing that beats the feeling when you come home with a packet of yarn, empty the knitting basket (of the work that is not quite finished ..) put in the new yarn, picking the appropriate sticks and begins to cast on the stitches for the new knitting project ...
